Pastor Search

Colby Community Church has its roots in the open Brethren assemblies and is situated in a suburb of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our average attendance is about 40 adults on a Sunday morning and a few children. While our attendance was higher before the pandemic, it has been fairly steady over the past few years. After 11 wonderful years with our previous pastor, he has decided to step down and we have begun the search for a new pastor.

We are seeking the pastor that God has chosen for us; who builds disciples, first by drawing them to the Lord in salvation, and then helping them develop their spiritual gifts, enabling each to be an active part of God’s church.
